HOW TO UPDATE BOWLING CENTER INFO

If you enter the bowling center yourself:
To edit information you have to be logged in. Go to your Bowling Center information page and click on grey button “Edit center” at the top right. All fields can be changed/updated. Don’t forget to click “Save” after you’re done!

If you Bowling Center was entered by someone else:
You will have to join us on Bowling Planet. Don’t worry! It’s FREE!
Create your account (click here). When you will enter your information and complete registering procedure, you will have to send us a request for access to your Bowling Alley info page. After verifying your information, we will assign your Bowling Alley information page to your email address on which you will receive a temporary password.
It is recommended to change temporary password on your first login. When logged in you can change/update your profile information by clicking on blue button “Edit profile”. Don’t forget to click “Save” after you’re done!

Event organizers

HOW TO ENTER EVENT RESULTS

1. LOGIN
Log in by clicking on the “LOGIN button” at the top right. Enter email address of your user account and password. Click on the “green LOGIN button”.
After a successful log in, picture and name of your user account will appear in toolbar at the top.

2. Find your event
Find your event by using search engine on the link HERE. You can browse for your event in groups or look for it in section “Next events”. Here are listed events which are taking place right now or will follow shortly.
If your event is not in the section “Next events“, enter event title in search field “ Search for event” and select it by clicking on it.

3. Results
After selecting event, informations about the competition will be displayed. Click on the tab “ Results“. Choose squad/time for which you want to enter results. Results should be entered after each game into fiels next to player’s name.

Be shure to click on the green button “SAVE RESULTS” in the red box after entering results. Results will be saved after clicking a button!

HOW TO REPLACE A PLAYER

In the case of replacement click Substitutions button. Popup window will appear. Select round in which you want to replace a player and then the player who goes out of the game and a replacement player. Click Save and you’re done!

SCORING RESULTS ON MULTIPLE MONITOR VIEW

You can easily extend your event live scoring across more than one monitor by plugging two or more monitors into your computer. You can manage your event on one desktop and at the same time display live results on second monitor or  video projector.

Before you can drag a live scoring window from your default screen to the external screen, you must navigate to your event scoring and click Screen button.

A new window with results will appear and you should be able to drag that window from one screen to the other. Results in new window will be updated automatically.

SLOVENIAN LEAGUE – ENTER RESULTS

We’re sorry, but this section is customized for Slovenian league and is avalible only in Slovenian language.

1. Prijava
Prijavite se s klikom na “gumb LOGIN” zgoraj desno. Vpišete e-mail naslov vašega uporabniškega računa in geslo, ter kliknite na “zelen gumb LOGIN“.
Po uspešni prijavi v sistem s v orodni vrstici pojavi slika in ime vašega uporabniškega računa.

2. Poiščite tekmovanje
Tekmovanje poiščete s pomočjo iskalnika na povezavi TUKAJ. Ligaško tekmovanje je dodeljeno v skupino Federations -> Bowling zveza Slovenije.
Tekmovanje lahko najdete tudi s pomočjo iskalnega polja “Search for event”, z vpisom naziva lige (npr. 1.Liga).

3. Rezultati
Po izbiri tekmovanja se izpišejo informacije o tekmovanju. Pod zavihkom “Results” so navedena posamezna kola ligaškega tekmovanja. V ustreznem krogu Izberite tekmo za katero želite vpisati rezultate. V polju “Patternizberite oljni vzorec na katerm se igra tekma. Če vzorca ni v sistemu, nam ga pošljite na info@bowling-planet.com in ga bomo dodali naknadno. Rezultate za posamezno igro vpišete v polja ob igralčevem imenu.

Po vnosu rezultatov obvezno kliknite na zelen gumb “SAVE” v rdečem polju, saj se rezultati v bazo sistema vpišejo šele ob kliku na gumb!

4. Prikaz rezultatov na ekranu
Sistem omogoča prikaz rezultatov s samodejnim osveževanjem na ločenem monitorju ali projektorju. Novo okno s prikazom rezultatov se vam bo odprlo ob kliku na gumb “Screen”.

5. Tiskanje zapisnika
Po končanem tekmovanju izdelajte zapisnik tekmovanja v tiskalniku prijazni obliki (.pdf) s klikom na gumb “Print” desno zgoraj.

Your “basic” information will always be shown on your player site, but you have control over personal and contact information that visitor sees when they visit your profile page. Change your visibility settings:

1. Login and click on “Edit profile” button on your profile page.
2. Click button on the right of the entry field. In popup block select “Public” or “Private” option.
3. Save.

HOW TO ADD CONTENT TO YOUR WEBSITE

Embedding Bowling-planet.com content onto a web page becomes as easy as cutting and pasting. How much does it cost you to add a content to your site? Nada–nothing. Hard to beat a deal like that!

1. Copy HTML code to embedding the content to your site:

Player

CAN’T SEE THE OFFICIAL RESULTS ON MY PROFILE

This problem occurs when the wrong player information (email) is used while entering a tournament or event or your profile was created by an organizer without selecting your real profile. Please Request Support and enter:

  1. URL link to your both profiles  (one with data and one without)
  2. Your “real” profile email (has to be the same on Request Support form)
  3. After email conformation, we will transfer your results from “fake” to your “real” profile.
    CAUNTION: After transfer the “fake” profile will be deleted, and the process can not be undone!

CHANGE PROFILE PICTURE

Your profile picture helps people recognize you on Bowling Planet.

To add a profile picture or change your current profile picture:
Login and go to your player profile. Hover over your profile picture and click on Change image button. Find the photo you want to use and select it to upload.

Note: Your current profile picture is public.

SHARING YOUR DATA

We allow you to share information from your Bowling Planet account to other registered users.

This is the type of information you can share
Visible to all:
– Your name, Club, Bowling federation, Scores, Events you participated

Visible to registered users:
– All that is visible to unregistered visitors.
– Membership number, Gender, Hand, Country
– With your permission: Telephone, Birthday, Address, City, Postcode, option to send you email over SPAM protected form (your email is not shown)

Visible to administrators of:
– National Bowling Federation which you are a member: All.
– Club which you are a member: All.

Bowling Planet will never share this data without your permission. You can manage these settings in your Bowling Planet profile account by selecting Public/Private status for information or delete not required fields.

HOW CAN I CHANGE MY PROFILE INFO

If your profile was created by event organizer:
When organizer has entered you to an event, email message has been sent to your email with temporary password. If your profile was created without an email address, you will have to send us a request for access to your profile. After verifying your information, we will assign your profile to your email address on which you will receive a temporary password.
It is recommended to change temporary password on your first login. When logged in you can change/update your profile information by clicking on blue button “Edit profile”. Don’t forget to click “Save” after you’re done!

If you’ve done it yourself:
Login and click on blue button “Edit profile”. All fields can be changed/updated. Don’t forget to click “Save” after you’re done!

MY PROFILE NAME IS LISTED TWICE ON THE WEBSITE

This problem occurs when the wrong player information (email) is used while entering a tournament or event. Please contact the event organization which can transfer your results to your real profile. After result transfer, send us a message which profile should be disabled.

Pro Users

WHAT IS THE PRO USER?

Bowling-planet.com itself is, and always will be free. Some features that we provide will be free, but others awesome advanced features, powered by our infrastructure are available only for Pro users. Pro user is user with access to the Extra features.

  • No limit on history: Users of free services have limited access to personal history of one year. Pro user has no time limit to history for the duration of the Pro user membership.

The membership fee is charged for a period of one year from the date of upgrading user profile and it’s only 19.90 € per year!
